Our Lab intends to bridge the fields of chemistry and biology. We are looking for chemistry, biochemistry and biology students that have interest in natural products synthesis, methodology development, and/or biosynthesis.

Graduate Students

Highly motivated graduate students interested in the Ting group are encouraged to apply to the Brandeis Chemistry Department through Graduate Admissions. Life science students (Biochemistry or Biology) should reach out to do a rotation in the group their first year. Expectations of graduate students are clearly outlined in the Graduate Student Handbook.

Postdoctoral Researchers

Postdoctoral researchers interested in working in the Ting group are encouraged to email Chi with a letter of intent, a C.V., two recent publications, and three letters of recommendation.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students should contact Chi by email. Undergraduate researchers must have at least one semester of organic chemistry, must be currently enrolled at Brandeis, and should intend to go to graduate school. Undergraduate researcher enrolled in Chem 91 should expect to spend four hours per week doing research.
