Sohjeong was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the US when she was a sophomore in high school. She went to Brookline High School in Brookline, MA and is currently majoring in Chemistry at Brandeis. Her interests are in synthetic chemistry and its application to perfumery and cosmetics. Outside the lab, she likes to bake in her free time.
